Efektivitas Media ALBI (Arabiyyah Linnaatiqiin Billughoh Indunisiyah) terhadap Hasil Pembelajaran Intensif Bahasa Arab Mahasiswa Baru UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the ALBI (Arabiyyah Linnaatiqiin Billughoh Indunisiyah) media on the outcomes of intensive Arabic learning among first-year students at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects consisted of 30 first-year students from the Communication and Islamic Broadcasting Study Program, group A1. The research instrument was an Arabic language test administered before and after the use of ALBI media, covering reading, writing, and listening skills in each learning unit. The ALBI media was implemented throughout one semester comprising 20 learning units, and the final scores were obtained from posttest results recorded in the application. The findings revealed an improvement in students’ Arabic learning outcomes. The mean pretest score was 72.3, which increased to 85.6 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test indicated a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05). These results indicate that ALBI media is effective in improving intensive Arabic learning outcomes among first-year students at UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya
