Publication Ethics

Jurnal Inovasi dan Teknologi Pendidikan (INTEP) is committed to maintaining academic integrity, transparency, and responsible publication practices. All authors, reviewers, editors, and other parties involved in the publication process are expected to uphold ethical standards.

1. AUTHORS

Authors must submit original work and ensure that the manuscript has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. Authors must accurately present their research, including research methods, results, and supporting information. Fabrication, falsification, manipulation of data, and other forms of academic misconduct are not acceptable. All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript should be appropriately acknowledged as authors. Authors are responsible for properly citing and acknowledging the work of others.

2. EDITORS

Editors are responsible for managing the editorial process fairly and professionally. Editorial decisions should be based on the academic quality, relevance, originality, and contribution of the manuscript. Editors must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not use unpublished information for personal advantage.

3. REVIEWERS

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and confidentially. Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors when appropriate. Reviewers must disclose any potential conflict of interest that may affect their evaluation.

4. PLAGIARISM AND ACADEMIC MISCONDUCT

INTEP does not tolerate plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, or other forms of academic misconduct. Manuscripts may be rejected or subjected to further investigation if academic misconduct is suspected.

5. CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose any potential conflict of interest that may influence the publication or review process.

6. CORRECTIONS AND RETRACTIONS

When significant errors or ethical problems are identified after publication, the journal may take appropriate corrective action, including issuing corrections or retractions where necessary. The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record.
